Sweat/Hiki

Hello!

I sketched another angular character. I wondered what new elements I could bring to the painting that I would create based on my sketch. I remembered tv-show called Work of art - The next great artist. On the show firts season winner Abdi Farah painted a hot glowing portrait that presented one of his fellow competitor. I decided to try painting the background that would glow light and heat. I painted the character over the background. I wanted to underline the feeling of hotness by adding sweat on the characters skin. I used thinned paint that poured down looking like sweat drops.

Luonnostelin taas kulmikkaan hahmon. Ja mietin mitä uuttaa voisin tuoda tauluun, jonka teen luonnoksen pohjalta. Mieleeni palasi tv-ohjelma nimeltä Taidemaailman huipulle. Siinä ensimmäisen kauden voittaja Abdi Farah teki ensimmäisessä jaksossa kilpakumppanistaan muotokuvan, joka hehkui väreissä ja loi kuumuuden tunteen. Päätin itse kokeilla taustaa, joka hohkaisi valoa ja lämpöä. Maalasin taustalle luonnostelemani hahmon. Halusin korostaa kuumuuden tunnetta lisämäällä hahmolle kuumuudesta johtuvan hien, jonka tein ohennetulla maalilla, jonka annoin valua hahmon "iholla".
